Ok so... Time for another update.

Started working on the fuel cell setup. It will be hidden by a firewall and then carpeted over.

First thing was to remove the old sheet metal with the Hypertherm 800 plasma cutter.

Then grind everything smooth.

Here is our cell. Its just a regular Black powder coated 15 gallon aluminum cell with a level sender.

Then I started work on something that is really going to "make" this car legendary. The custom sub frame that will also act as a complete chassis stiffener.

First thing I did was make the mounts for the main pickup points for the new subframe.

These are 1.5" od .095" wall DOM tubing

Then I grabbed some grade 8 washers, and sanded all the zinc coating off. Then tacked them in place.

I then tig welded them all up.

And bolted them in the oem location.

Then I measured where the stock Suspension arm pickup point was. It was located 3.75" down, and 3.25" inward of the chassis.

I then notched some tubing at the correct 50 degree angle, and tacked everything in place.

After that was all confirmed I tig welded everything together.

This took awhile.

I then attached all the super baller suspension components, and confirmed fitment.
